This unique book is an excellent resource for health care providers that provides the basic tools to communicate with native Portuguese speakers in a medical setting. There are maps and the translations are provided in Brazilian, Continental and Cape Verdean. While Portuguese Health Care Dialogues: Conversations between health care providers and patients in Brazilian, Continental and Cape Verdean is not a substitution for medical interpretation, it is a valuable resource to better communication between health care providers and patients.
